POLYKEM GROUP
POLYKEM was founded in 1984 in Athens, having as its sole activity the distribution of thermal insulation products of “The Dow Chemical Company” in the Greek construction industry. The company started with Capital investment of 88.000€, a staff of 5 people, and with the unique activity of Styrofoam products distribution and managed to develop into a dynamic distributor of a wide range product mix which nowdays employs approximately 80 people.
Polykem accomplished in just a short period of time, to be very successful in the distribution of Dow insulating products through its expanding dealers network, and soon attracted the interest of other international companies as well. With the introduction of new products, the activities of Polykem spread over a wider field, broadening in this way its working horizons and the company was established as one of the biggest distributors of specialized construction products in the sector.
Today, POLYKEM has its own private warehouse premises in Krioneri, Oinofyta and Kalochori, a wide dealers network, its own franchise chain shops, ERGOLAND and 10 affiliated companies in Bulgaria, Serbia, Romania, FYROM and Turkey, through which is having simiral commercial activities.
All the years since the establishment in 1984 have had something to offer in the development of POLYKEM. However, a few stand out a bit more since major steps were undertaken during those times.

In 1999 is a benchmark in POLYKEM growth since RAVAGO Group becomes its largest shareholder
In 2002 POLYKEM sets off its pioneering for the Greek market franchise chain of shops that distribute exclusively construction products
In 2004 POLYKEM introduces KELYFOS, an ETICSystem that in the years to come was developed into the sole total external insulation system in the Greek market
In 2009 is another milestone year since POLYKEM participates in the newly establish RAVAGO Building and Construction Solutions Holding, which aims to deliver a Paneuropean scheme in the distribution of specialized construction products.
